INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

ZyGEM has an aggressive and focused intellectual property patenting strategy. The focus has been on developing a core foundation of patents for the ZyGEM culture collection and then on filing patents providing protection for specific technologies and products.  Specific applications of ZyGEM’s advanced technologies in the area of DNA extraction and detection are also being patented.
