ZyGEM PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Rapid DNA Extraction Made Easy
ZyGEM currently offers two families of products for the extraction of DNA and other nucleic acid. Our prepGEM™ products have been formulated for DNA extraction in animal tissue samples, including basic research and the high throughput international livestock genetics market. The Livestock Improvement Corporation of New Zealand was the first commercial user of this reagent and has successfully employed the technology for two years. Our forensicGEM™ products have been formulated for use in forensic human identity testing. forensicGEM™ is currently undergoing validation by New Zealand’s forensic DNA laboratory at the Institute of Environmental Science and Research Limited (ESR).
