livestockGEM™ Storage Card Blood has been specially formulated to extract quality DNA from blood stored on Whatman FTA card. livestockGEM™ Storage Card Blood has been specifically formulated for blood from the predominant livestock species such as cattle and sheep.
- The kit’s optimized methods and formulations provide DNA in just 30 minutes.
- There is an optional centrifugation step, with no washes, vacuums, or columns.
- Reactions can be closed-tube and hands-off.
- All buffers and reagents are PCR and Mass Spec compatible, so no downstream purification is required.
These features make livestockGEM™ Storage Blood Card ideal for large-scale automation in livestock genotyping workflows, whilst being as easy to process hundreds of samples per day by hand.
