Neville Jordan is Chairman of the New Zealand private equity firm Endeavour Capital. He is a founder of MAS Technology Ltd, a company he successfully floated on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange. Neville recently spent three years as a member of the Prime Minister's Growth and Innovation Advisory Board. In 1997 he received the Governor General’s Supreme Award for Exporting and in 1999 he was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
Paul Kinnon, BS, DM
President and Chief Executive Officer
Paul Kinnon was appointed President and CEO in October 2007. A life science industry veteran, he brings ZyGEM more than 18 years of management experience in developing and marketing innovative products and solutions to diverse customers. Paul joined ZyGEM from Invitrogen Corp., where he held the positions of Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances and Vice President and General Manager of the Applied Markets Business Unit. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Guava Technologies and Vice President of Sales at Cellomics. Earlier in his career, he held marketing and management positions at leading companies including Porvair, Caliper, Whatman and Thermo Instrumentation. Paul was awarded a Bachelor of Applied Chemistry from Coventry University in the UK and a Diploma of Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a member of the Chartered Institute Marketing and Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP). Paul is based at ZyGEM’s U.S. headquarters near San Diego, California.
Martin Gleeson, Ph.D.

Dr. Martin Gleeson has over 20 years of leadership experience in the biotechnology industry, having worked in the U.S., U.K. and Canada. Previously, Martin directed all R&D activities at Invitrogen Corporation. Over a seven-year period there he played an integral role in technology and product development, helping the company to grow from a specialty life sciences tools firm with annual revenues of U.S. $15 million to a global biotechnology leader with annual revenues of more than U.S. $1 billion. Martin maintains strong links throughout the biotechnology industry.
Professor Roberta Farrell, FRSNZ, FIAWS
Non Executive Director, SAB Chairman
Roberta L Farrell’s distinguished track record of fundamental and applied research achievements have resulted in 28 issued U.S. patents and internationally marketed products. She is an expert in Antarctic microbial biodiversity and bioprospecting. Roberta is one of the Founding Scientists of ZyGEM, a Professor at University of Waikato, an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina State University and was elected Fellow of the International Academy of Wood Science in 1990 and Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand in 2005. Previously, she was Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Research at Sandoz Chemicals Biotech Research Corp.

Mark Stuart is the CEO of WaikatoLink, which is the internationally-recognised commercialization and technology transfer company of the University of Waikato. Mark has a strong background in the successful development and growth of early-stage businesses.
William Mason, Ph.D.
Non Executive Director
Bill Mason is the founder of several successful biomedical companies. His expertise includes strategic direction, fundraising and business development, and he has completed over 40 transactions in the last five years. Bill is a member of the 3i plc Independent Directors Programme and has served as non-executive chairman or director for a number of public and private companies. Prior to his business career, Bill led a medical research programme.
