ZyGEM has a well-established Scientific Advisory Board and a newly-formed Clinical Advisory Board emphasizing molecular diagnostics. Both are comprised of distinguished individuals with relevant expertise in research, technology, medicine and industry. They offer the breadth and depth of knowledge needed to help ZyGEM provide its customers with exceptional products and service. Their experience and insights are critical to our continued success in applying our unique technology to develop innovative products and solutions for a variety of market sectors, as well as to our ongoing efforts to respond to the needs and aspirations of our varied customers.

Sir Brian Heap, CBE ScD FRS
Chief Scientific Advisor

U.K.-based Sir Brian Heap is Special Professor in Animal Physiology at the University of Nottingham, Chairman of the new Cambridge Genetics Knowledge Park and U.K. representative on the NATO Science Committee. Sir Brian was Vice President and Foreign Secretary of the Royal Society; Senior Visiting Scientist in the School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge; Director of the Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics Research (Cambridge and Edinburgh) and Director of Science, Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council in Sweden. Professor Heap, who holds doctorates from the Universities of Cambridge, Nottingham and York, has published extensively in endocrine physiology and biotechnology.
